Rebello paper: 100% recycled

Anyone who thinks recycled paper is immediately dull or drab probably hasn't seen Rebello yet.

Rebello is a matte, uncoated paper type made entirely from recycled paper. But instead of hiding its sustainable origin, Rebello does the opposite. The visible fibers, light natural hue, and slightly rougher texture give the paper a lot of character.

As a result, it feels less "perfectly smooth" than classic printing paper, and that's precisely what makes it interesting.

Fully recycled paper

Rebello is made from collected waste paper, without adding extra bleaches or chlorine during production. This makes it a more sustainable choice with a lower environmental impact. Rebello is therefore the proud bearer of international sustainability labels such as: FSC®, Blue Angel®, and the Austrian Ecolabel®.

Because the paper is not chemically bleached stark white, it has a lightly natural, soft grey tint. Sometimes you can also see small fibers or subtle specks in the paper. This is entirely part of Rebello's look and gives it that more organic appearance.

Surprisingly sturdy

What many people also don't expect: Rebello feels quite sturdy. Due to the structure of the recycled fibers, the paper contains more air, making it feel thicker than you would expect based on its grammage. This immediately gives the print a higher quality impression in hand.

What is Rebello often used for?

Rebello is particularly well-suited for projects that can have a slightly warmer, more natural, or more sustainable look. Think, for example, of flyers, leaflets, and brochures in various grammages. For very sleek or ultra-minimalist designs, it is sometimes less suitable precisely because the paper's texture remains visible. But for brands or projects that need to exude a bit more character, it works beautifully.

Currently, Rebello is mainly available for offset printing and larger runs. In terms of price, it is usually quite comparable to popular semi-matte paper types like silk paper, making it an interesting option if you want to print more sustainably without it becoming extremely more expensive.
